I waited a few days to post this because it hits a little too close to home for me.

After a mention by someone last night as to how I was running in "Ninja mode", I figured I should offer an explanation as to how I can be so talkative in the forums, yet be so quiet while on XBL.

In reality it has a lot to do with my wife.  But, part of it does have to do with my own insecurities.

So I've been trying to convince my wife we need to start looking more seriously at buying a house in the not too distant future. We've been doing some looking here lately, but it generally ends with, "Oh wow! I love that house!" Nothing else. My wife is absolutely convinced we need to wait. I am dead set on us needing to buy one within the next 9 months or so.

So I am totally stealing the theme and idea for this post from someone else on this site.  I read this person's blog and it got me to thinking about all the unanswered questions in life, and especially in faith.

You hear about and read stories like this all the time.  Always sad.  Occasionally a happy, or not as sad, ending.  I've mentioned a similar story or two before in my blog.  This is just the most recent I have encountered.  Plus, the stories always mean so much more when the person impacts your life in some way.

I am so pleased with my experiences with this site.  I just needed to say that.  I have met some very cool people.  I have made some good friends in just a short amount of time.  I've said some stupid things and people have overlooked it.  I've made some bonehead moves in game and you just laugh about it.  I've gotten to learn so much about the video game I love to play, including how to be better at it.  My f/l has gone from 13 to 91.  I have certainly met some interesting characters.  I am continually entertained by some of the posts in the forums as well as some of the things talked about i
