Well this is it...

Vacation time is finally almost here.  The wifey and I spent the evening making sure we had everything packed up and all the important documents, etc. all together.  I am finally feeling excited about the trip.  Up to this point it has been as stressful as it has been exciting.  So much going on at work.  So much to get done before we leave.  We are finally packed and ready to go.  It finally feels real.

Hunting Down the Mysterious Wii

This weekend the wifey and I went to her mom's.  It was mostly a "business" trip to drop off the dogs.  That poor woman.  She has a Schnauzer of her own that is typical of that breed.  Very sociable and generally full of energy.  We left her another Schnauzer(my mom's) as well as our Yorkie and American Eskimo.  The Yorkie is a non-stop ball of fire that annoys the crap out of me.  She just does not ever stop.  The Eskie is a bundle of anxiety and nerves when I am not around and is more protective of people she knows than any dog I have ever seen (she once latched on to an old g/f of mine beca

Graduation

A little more serious today...

It is that time of year.  Folks are graduating.  Here at work we have 2 of our kids graduating from high school.  For most any kid, this is an accomplishment.  For our kids, with all things considered, it borders on being a miracle.

Elitist Prick

So apparently today is rant day in the blogs.  My turn.

First and foremost, for those of you that have read Stang's blog, I am in no way defending him here.  He's a big boy.  He can take care of himself.  I'm just in a pissy mood and am gonna take it out here.

ME FTW!!!

Yep.  You read that right.  Me!
No, this isn't some sort of weird psychobabble self-esteem improvement exercise.  But, I will as though I should both rejoice and pat myself on the back.

My wife is not, and has never been, a fan of the video games.  She will play Guitar Hero with me every once in a while.  She'll fire up the PSP and play one of her Sonic the Hedgehog type game about once a week.  But, other than that, she generally looks at, and speaks of, my 360 with a great deal of disdain.
