So its the 4th of July...big barbecue planned...ribs, steak, corn on the cob and lots of booze.  Nope...cancelled.  Instead of a night of celebration my family got a night of worry.  The day started off ok...seemed like it was going to go off without a hitch.  Then I go pickup my grandfather from dialysis.  He seems fine..a little tired but ok.  Get him home and he goes in to use the restroom.  Now on dialysis days I have to go in there with him cause he just doesn't have the strength to stand back up on his own.  He says he thinks he's ready so I go to help him up..nope..has to sit back do

Well...it was bar night last night for the Zonies group...only 3 of us showed...lol. It was fun though...drank and played pool for about 3 hours. Started with some bacardi and coke..then for some reason I got the craving for something sweet. Well damn if they didn't have any desserts there so I figured I would just order a sweet drink. I said surprise me. Don't do that.

Those of you that know me...know that it takes me alot to get worked up about things. I am a really easy going guy and even though I am a single child I have that "middle child" syndrome where I try and fix things rather then let it escalate. Up to this point...I have felt saddened...depressed...regretful on how things went with my recent breakup. I am no longer any of these things...I am angry...still hurt some yes, but pissed to the max now. I feel more now that the whole relationship was a scam on her part and I walked right into it.

So I am on here writing this when I should be in bed sleeping, but maybe I will feel the urge to sleep when I am done emptying my mind a bit.  This week has been difficult for me on a few levels.  The split with my significant other is final now.  I did end up canceling my cell account which also included the extra phone and line I was letting her use so who knows if I shall see the phone back or not.  I am graced with silence, but also a deep desire to somehow fix things...even though I know this is for the best.

So last night I sat down to play some halo.  Odd thing was that I couldn't play with user created maps.  Gametypes were not a problme..but anytime a forge altered map was tried it told me no.  Anyone have any ideas on why this may have happened?  Used a different tag on the same box and no problems.  So not sure what the deal is.  I will say I had a blast playing with the clan peeps.  It had been awhile since we played h3.  Also got onto some graw2 later on in the night with some co-op elimination and that was definitely a good time.  I might have to put down cod4 for a bit and return to gr

So I finished reading Eddings' Belgaraid series again, one of the first fantasy series I actually read, and while looking through the book case for something new I came across this poem I had written tucked away in Wizard's First Rule by Goodkind.  So I just thought I would share it and see what the masses think.
