Did some faster runs this week, to try to get used to that. I also made a marathon training schedule to follow through 2014. Tentatively targeting an attempt at the Columbus Marathon on 10/19/14. Still not fully commited mentally... Do or do not - there is no try.
Returned from Mankato, MN and the campus Xb1 demo today. Played Forza and Killer Instinct. Great graphics and smooth game play, of course. The controller was a fast play. My hands moved left to right quickly and smoothly over the buttons and the D-pad; and same for the up and down motions over the triggers/shoulder buttons. Good movement for BF4 play. The feedback was non-intrusive and the trigger feedback felt just right. No extra pressure required to hold the controller. I have large square palms and short fingers. The controller feels really good to me.
This might be old news to some, but I looked around and saw barely a mention in here, so here it is. I'd really like some feedback and reaction to it if anyone wants to take the time.
I can see, to a very limited extent I guess, both sides of this argument, but damn, is it really something that needs to be? I mean, yes, I can see that the world really needs to know that these things happen, and most don't seem to realize how brutal the world truly is, OR how bad some of these groups are, so heres the proof, in your face.
According to the automaker, the 903 hp carbon fiber coupe can accelerate to 60 mph in under 2.8 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 217 mph.
Very pretty, but a little lacking performance wise for the buck/bang ratio. BUT, I would have to say, the "oh it's so pretty" factor is pretty damn good! Still 495bhp and an outstanding 8spd auto has to be fun!
There's a really good 340bhp V6 option for just under $70k though, if you're a tad more practical and like being seen or just like putting the top down and riding in the countryside.
Oh Rockstar, how you task me. I chase you not 'round Perditions flames, but surely 'til my online character can retain his hat whilst driving - as his story-mode brethren do. I shall chase you not past the moons of Nibia, but through the bogs of the Zancudo River. Though my pants may gleam in their mud-soaked sodden state, I shall persist 'til we may own more than one garage or home. The Antares Maelstrom shall be eclipsed in my ire 'til the day I own a Weazel News van and dispatch within upon my missions.
As I made note of in my first blog post about Extra Life 2013, I am well aware that money may be an issue when it comes to aiding me with my efforts. I completely understand. What I failed to mention was the myriad number of ways in which you can help that don't involve money but instead just a few minutes of your time. Allow me to elaborate.
I often Stumble over my words. and I was explaining to the guys that I was able to Solo a survival map in GTA 5. What I said is... "I soloed it by myself" Funny huh? Well It stuck and I think I helped that..
