Review: Greed Corp.

For those looking for a fun, yet challenging RTS, look no further than Greed Corp. on the XBLA.  Here's a link to the review I wrote for EvilAvatar.com.

Enjoy!

Highlight from Easter

First off, I hope everyone had a good weekend (and happy Easter for those celebrating). We hosted at my house, with my parents, sister, and her three kids (5 year old niece and twin 2 year olds) in for the weekend. All in all a great time...quite a bit more hectic and loud than I remember, since my kids are quite a bit older. However, the highlight came last night as we were preparing to put my 5 year old niece to bed. She walks into the family room, and looks at her mother with thoughtful eyes, and exclaims

"Mommy...I like shooting zombies!"

Yummm

I think I can call my first night in New Orlean's a success.  Fortunate for me, I'm a block and a half away from a staple of the city and creole (or so the consierge told me) at Mulate's.  After a simply delicious dinner of blackened catfish with shrimp, jambalaya, twice baked potatoe, and sauted veggies...I'm quite satisfied.  Now time to curl up with a good book picked up in the airport on the way down here (The Scarecrow by Michael Connelly) and hunker down for the night.

Bachelor Pad at Balek's

Yes, it's that time of the year - President's Day long weekend off for the kids, which equates to my wife and kids going to my inlaws in Boston for the weekend.  Where I have to work Friday and Monday, I stay at home.  Soo....GAME ON!

What will Balek be playing this weekend?  Easy answer - Bioshock 2.
