Hype is a double-edged sword. While it serves the purpose to increase the pre-release popularity...or at least awareness...of your game, movie, or whatever, it also raises the bar which must be met for the product to be a success. For the theater releases of 2009, I don’t think there is any question which title has had the most hype generated for it, and rightfully so. After all, it did take up to a half a billion (that’s with a B!) according to The Times for James Cameron to bring us Avatar.

Just a quick note to all of 2o2p, wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving. I hope everyone eats well (our dinner is already underway...stuffing is in, one dessert is being created, etc.) and enjoys the time with friends and/or family.

I'm back with some more detailed information on the game now that I've had a chance to put it through the paces - or at least moreso than a single night will allow. Having clocked about 6 hours into the game, I've gotten a flavor of what is to come, and will relate on that. With that said, this still isn't a 'review' as there is so much in the game I have not yet experienced.

I'll start with the long story short...
What's stayed the same - the parkour and combat.
What's changed - everything else.
