I love my job (?)

Pretty tough to say, but at the same time it’s very satisfying when you can. While on the Elliptical of Death™ this morning, the news was giving a sneak peak at the top employer in the country according to Fortune magazine: Google. What makes Google the place to work for?

E - A - G - L - E - S !!!

First game of the playoffs, so here's to hopin' that the Eagles can send Tiki Barber to his retirement early!

Projected final score - 27-17 Eagles

TANGO DOWN!

Holy crap is Rainbow Six® Vegas fun!

Now I'm a fan of the whole tactical-style FPS genre as a whole, having broken my teeth on the original Rainbow Six way back when, and loved the Splinter Cell series as it was developed. But in what little I've played it so far, the newest edition to the portfolio from Ubisoft has done nothing but impress me. To put that into some light as well - I'm coming off of playing Gears of War, which has won and will undoubtedly win more Game of the Year awards in the upcoming days and months.

Poor Donald...

While at the gym this morning in an attempt to get back on the bandwagon towards a much needed goal of significant weight loss, the Today Show was up on the television. One segment had Donald Trump on to promote the upcoming season of The Apprentice. However, what do you think the first question posed to him was? “Do you feel it is in good form to reduce yourself to the level of mudslinging with Rosie?” The interview went on for the next 5 minutes with bickeri

Enter Stage Right...

I’m sure I’m not the only person out there who finds introductions awkward.  You find yourself in the middle of a room, with people you don’t know and who don’t know you all around, and you are expected to feel good about it.  Well, as a bonafide introvert, I don’t feel good about it.  In fact, it scares the living shit out of me.  But…I also know it’s something that is holding me back both personally and professionally, and something that I can conquer in my life if I put myself to it.
