I'll have more pictures tomorrow for the other 3 sticks I've got working. This one is just the closest to being done. Its about 96%. I'm just waiting on my buddy to finish the wiring.
I've been taking custom orders for arcade sticks for the Xbox 360 & Ps3 for a couple of months now. And its been fun. But after the past 2 hectic weeks, I've decided to take a break.
I'm not gonna stop building sticks, just not gonna take any more custom orders for a while.
I will however be putting some sticks that I build for fun up for sale on my custom sticks website. I wont post it here because it wouldn't be right to advertise without paying for it.
But if you wanna know the site, PM me and I'll send you the address.

I grew up in the arcades. Either I was at home on my SNES playing Street Fighter II, or I was in the arcades playing Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat or King of Fighters.
So arcade gaming is in my blood. I love it. But arcades in the US are all but dead....thanks to home consoles. I miss arcades....alot. Especially in the South East USA. There are basically zero good arcades that keep up to date with their fighter cabs or even repair them frequently. I'd have to go to California or New York to get a game of Tekken 6 in...or Street FIghter IV.

- Build an arcade cabinet
- Win the lottery
- Find a better job (if the lottery thing doesn't pan out)
- Start learning a new language....either Japanese or German.
- Get a better apartment (or house if the lottery or better job things do pan out)
- Try to be happier in my every day life. Thats gonna be toughy since I'm such a cynical ass...
Theres a few other things...like start to learn the guitar.....but I dont know when Im gonna have time if I'm gonna be spending so much time looking for a better job.

Okie dokie. For a while now I've wanted to have my own arcade machine. But I could never find a good deal on a used one in my area. So I'm going to go the route of building my own.
Ive done this once before, but it ended up being all scrap wood thanks to mother nature. Tragic story....I wont tell it.
Anyway. Being a designer....I'm never pleased with my own work. But I've managed to narrow it down to 2 basic designs. Both are fundamentally the same, but one has larger white side panels, the other does not.
