1st Month

So, I've been a member of 2o2p for a month now.  I have to say, joining this site goes down as one of my best game decisions ever!  What a brilliant concept, to create these old folks haven where we needn't worry about the hassle and irritation of dealing with the younger crowd.  This site is now my 1st and last stop every day and I really can't see that ever changing.  Thank you 2old2play creators, thank you.  Also, thank you Al Gore for giving us the internet which made this possible.  And thank you Bill Gates for....ok, nm...let's not get carried away here.

Desolation Doubles Clan Tourney

We @ 2o2pHalo are having another clan tournament on Friday, this time it's Double team on Desolation.  It should be a lot of fun again, and I'll post the results once the dust settles.

PCS time again

PCS = Permanent Change of Station.  The military code for: time to move on.  As I'm preparing for this move I'm realizing a few things.

Army Strong and Army Stupid

You know how you have that relative or friend that's just a complete moron/idiot/ho/sailor or something else not so great.  You know how you can hack on him, but you won't let anyone else, kind of like, he ain't heavy he's my brother kinda sentiment.  That's how I feel about the Army.  I'll bitch sometimes, hell frequently even, about some of the stupid stuff we put up with, but I don't like it when people who don't know anything about it say negative stuff about us.  I know, everyone has their right of free speech, and that's not what I'm against at all.  I'm just sayin', I don't perso

Evolution of a Gamertag

So...as some of you know...my first name is Grover.  Yeah, like the fuzzy blue guy on Seasame Street or our 22nd & 24th President Grover Cleveland (the only 2 term Prez to serve non consecutive terms).  Anyways, politics & blue monsters aside, Grover is a curious and uncommon name to have, especially in these more modern times.  Apparently, it was quite common back in the early days of our country, and even still in common use early last century.
