My oldest boy just started kindergarten and it is not going well.  Up to this point, he had gone 2 days a week to a Christian preschool and the other 3 days, he went to a sitters.  He had been around the same kids for several years.  He played on t-ball teams with several of these kids and these were his buddies.  Well this year he started going to school with my wife.  She teaches in another county from where we live.  All of his friends are staying at the Christian school.  We did not leave him at the Christian school because it is expensive and getting him there and picking him up would be

Here I am enjoying Bioshock and all it's single playerness (is that a word?).  I get off last night and check this sight and my email like I always do before I go to bed.  What is this?  An invite to be in the COD 4 beta?  Oh yeah.  Then it hit me, I now have to choose.  I am digging Bioshock and want to play it.  I have also been wanting in on this beta.  I just figured it wasn't going to happen.  What to play?

Recently I bought my boys a bag of army men like I had when I was a kid.  You know, the little plastic guys.  We have been having a blast with them.  Best couple of dollars I have spent in a long time.  What's funny is a friend of ours just had a baby and this weekend we went by the house to see them.  They have a little girl that is about four and just had another little girl.  We pull up and on the driveway is the mother load of army men and vehicles.  Turns out this guy had saved all of his from when he was a kid and he and his daughter had been playing.  My boys were in heaven.  I have nev

     The other day at school, one of the other teaches comes into my room.  Including myself, there are three of us at my school that Play Gears of War on a semi regular basis.  This other teacher announces that he heard that there was going to be a Gears tournament in a nearby town Saturday and we should enter.  Why not, I thought.  The two of us and the other teacher and his brother-in-law decided we would give it a try.  We really didn't expect much but we figured we could go and have fun.

Just wondering how many of you use companies like Gamefly?  A buddy that I work with has been trying to talk me into joining up.  I did in fact take the plunge the other day and immediately chickened out.  I just can't make up my mind if this is the right thing to do.  If I am going to join, I would join with the 2 game deal so that is $23 a month.  I don't even know if this is the total price or if tax is added.  $23 a month equals $276 a year.  That is 4.6 new games a year I could buy.  I usually like to buy used if possible so some of the 10 games I own only cost me $20.  There are some gam
