I went out and bought the Microsoft wheel yesterday.  So far I have mixed feelings.  I was really excited to pick it up.  Seems well built.  It was very easy to put together.  Now I have not had the game very long but I was getting to where I could get around the track pretty good.  First race with the wheel and I felt like that I had never played the game before.  There is a definite learning curve.  I normally drive with the third person view.  I like to be able to see what is going on around me.  I found that with the wheel, I did much better with the hood view.  I also discovered that I ha

Today was one of those days.  I went to swim lessons with the family today since I will be taking them by myself next week while my wife takes some classes.  The problem is my little one (almost 4) will not get in the pool without his mom getting in with him.  She wanted me to go today so I will know what to do next week.   We  get there and we are a little early  so I get the little guy ready.   Swim vest and  floaties for the arms.  The kid couldn't  sink  if you tied a boat anchor around his neck.  I pull him off to the side and it's deal time.  I tell him I will take him to Wal-Mart and ge

I bought this yesterday and I absolutely love it.  I have never gotten into racing games before.  I had tried several but never enjoyed any of them.  I kept seeing people on my friends list playing and I kept wondering what was so great.  I did a little research and still was not convinced.  Some of the cars were cool looking though.  The idea of painting the cars interested me but I still didn't think I would really enjoy the game that much.  Now that I own it, I don't know which I enjoy more, the racing or the painting.  Now keep in mind, I suck at both but I am having a blast.  I haven't co

I just picked this game up last week.  I just finished up RB6 Vegas so wanted another shooter to play through.  Normally I play a game on easy first or the next level up.  I saw on COD 2 that all the achievements are for playing it on veteran.  I thought to myself, how hard can it be.  This game is going to keep me busy for a long time.
