It's been over a week now since PAX East. Leaving there reinvigorated my interest in gaming as a whole and especially in doing my part for the 2old2play community, particularly Waterborn, DSmooth, and everybody else who works their asses off to keep things running smoothly on the site and in real life. As a result I'm 100% in for the "street team" idea recently proposed all over the forums by DSmooth.

I've always enjoyed hearing about workplace April Fools pranks but it seems that as I am getting older, I haven't had the creativity or energy to invest in them. Two years ago, I wrapped the company VP's desk in aluminum foil. This year, the president chucked an 8 pound medicine ball at me.

 Alternate title: Why yesterday sucked

I came into work yesterday at 7 AM and began preparing for my day. Shook my mouse to wake up the machine (we leave our PC's on overnight at my office for updates) but the monitor was still black. Hit the Esc key a few times and still nothing. I realized something was wrong when I hit the power button on the case and still nothing happened.

I got into Boston Saturday a few hours before the Gamers Gone Wild party to see if I would be able to sneak into PAX without a badge. Fortunately I managed to borrow a friend's badge for a couple hours and got to check out the sights in the expo hall.

I'll get the whole video posted in the next few days but wanted to show off who crashed Waterborn's party last night (which, by the way, was incredibly fun. Waterborn and the SFX-360 crew did an incredible job of putting it all together). Adam could have been bullshitting but I thought it was interesting that when I identified the website he said "Oh I know you guys".
