It's that time of year again.  I have lived in NC close to 20 years now.  I came from a totally different climate much more north of here.  Brrrrrr!  Well, the growing season in the south is much longer, starts earlier and, depending on how the weather goes, can last way into late fall, even up until November.  That's a lot of gardening!  Hubby starts preparing the soil and plants lettuce and such as early as March.  We have had some kind of fresh veggie ever since April when that lettuce started coming in.  But, right about now we have the majority of our crop hitting us in the face.  We h

So, I got yet another call to the phone, Penni 8-oh, Penni 8-oh.  And I was busy, and muttered to myself that they could just wait or call me back.  When I got to the phone it was still lit up, so I answered it "this is Penni".  Oh man!  It was the doc from the radiology dept.  And I made him wait!!!  So, the suspense is over.....BENIGN!!!!!!  Oh, I knew that!  NOT!  I know too much.  I already had myself getting a port and chemo at my clinic.  Maybe even a lumpectomy.  Wild imagination?  No, just that's the way it happens.  But, not for me!    Not at this time, anyways.
