I'm Bored!

I worked my a$$ off last week, (still there?  guess so)  slinging chemo and saving lives.  Whew, too many people getting cancer these days.  So, this week I only work one day, and keep my littlest booboo the other 4.  Problem is, daughter changed her schedule so the days I keep him are not ideal....  I could have worked today.  NOT!!!!  Instead, I am sitting here with my laptop wanting to do something.....anything.....fun!  Last night MTGO server was down AGAIN!!!!!!  This morning WoW has weekly maintenance, server is down.  Eek!  My addiction is not being fed and I am starting to feel.......s

Mother's Day

Today is the day after.....  I have 2 children of my own, and 2 stepsons.  I also have 2 grandbaby boys.  So I'm Mom and Grandmom.  I got taken out to lunch and Happy Mommy's Day from my kids.  What could be better?  It was a beautiful day, as well, sunny and warm.  Ahhh, I also got a nice gift from a friend.  Thanks!  It was absolutely lovely!  Yesterday was a great Mother's Day for me.  I am sooooo luved!   Hope the rest of you Moms had a nice one too!

Mother's Day

Server is Down

I am sitting here, in front of my PC, with a message that says "server is offline".  Bah!  For the few of you that play magic online, you know what I am talking about.  The server crashes routinely and causes me a fair amount of grief.  So, I thought I would just voice my humble opinion.  FIX IT!!!!!!!!  Oh, if doodi could just get his hands on the MTGO server, he could work wonders with it.  But........

Creating a Monster

I have been after my husband for years to learn how to use the computer.  I even bought  him one for Christmas.  So, he took a class to get comfortable with the idea.  Ack!  I have created a monster!  He doesn't want to game, not at all.  He is an information seeker.  An idea pops into his head and off he goes to the PC to "research" it.  He likes politics, geneology, weird stuff like that.  So, he has tried to find out more about his Indian ancestory, among other things.  He looked up the "secret" work he did while he was in service and found out it was no secret!  Man, was he surprised!  Now

Home from the Beach

I just got home a little while ago.  Put the pedal to the metal and stayed in the left lane all the way.  It was a very, very nice drive.  Margaret, my friend, kept me just a little tipsy the whole time I was there.  She is Irish.  We went to an Irish pub and drank Irish beer.  Some of you know I'm a cheap date.  Whew!  After the pub, we had a glass of wine at home, then another when we went to dinner.  Ack!  I'm a lush!!!

Sooooo, the pics.  I have 2 on the beach, and one at that pub.  The glint in my eye, well, you have to use your imagination....
