I wonder if I could get used to this west coast stuff.  Just knowing that the rest of the country is up and at it when I am just crawling out of bed....hmmm.  Fun times yesteday!  We went to the beach.  Meemoos, myself, and the little Mees.  The weather got just a little better just for us, but it was still c-c-c-cold!  We walked the beach looking for, well, anything, had lunch at Mo's, best clam chowder ever, and topped that off with a Blizzard from DQ.  Good stuff.  I guess putting it out there that I needed to be fed or I would waste away was a good idea.  LOL

So here I am, still in my jammies, being a slug.  Eastern time it is well past noon.  I am trying to adjust.  My watch says 9:45.  Yikes.  I was awake at 3:00, then 5:00, then I got up at 5:30.  Feels weird.  I lose all that time in just a couple days.  I'm listening to meemoos and her two little guys doing their artsy craftsy stuff in the kitchen.  Kids are great!  They call me grandma Penni.  awwwwww...  Actually they dropped the grandma part very quickly, fine with me!

Oregon!  Yes, it does rain all the time here.  And cold!  I am sitting in meemoos' play room with our laptops doing our thing.   Had ham and pineappple pizza for supper.  mmmmmmm  I am trying to adjust to the time zone, but am soooooo crapped.  I gotta go to bed soon.  Oh!  Meemoos knows allll the 2old2play gossip.  Wow.  I never knew!  It's a regular Peyton Place!  Oh, I guess that dates me.  Funny, don't care.  What fun to sit and gossip.  I luv it!

More adventure today!  Heading out for the airport in a few mins.  I have already travelled thru one time zone.  Two more to go.  I get to park my car for free at the hotel...w00t!   A little not about Chicago...  I don't have too much to say about it cuz I have only driven in, had a snack and glass of wine at the hotel bar/restaurant, went to bed, slept, and up again.  I find the general personality type entirely the opposite of what I have grown used to in the south.  It's an attitude thing.  Not bad, just strange to me.
