Would you believe I never heard of Tim Horton?  Good coffee, great hot chocolate!  Today, I am in real trouble.  J-Cat is just as energetic, perky and wonderful as she sounds, and I have no voice!  Yep, laryngitis.  I felt it coming on last night, and when I tried to talk this morning....squeak!  omg!  This is my last day in Canada.../sob.  We will make the best of it, even if I have to use sign language or send her emails!  LOL  The day is beautiful, altho cold, but sun makes up for a lot.  ooooo, not a whole lot to say this morning.  I gotta go start my day!

I know it's Tuesday cuz it's Luke day.  His 2nd day, actually.  Tomorrow I head for Ottawa.  Hear that J-Cat?  I AM coming.  I have met the most wonderful people so far.  It is very interesting to see how others live and what they do with their time.  And how good they are to me, welcoming me into their homes and treating me like a queen.  If people hadn't been feeding me, I'd have lost 10 lbs by now!  Eek!  Why bother to eat when you have places to go, people to see......  Every single person I have met has had their own lifestyle, different from the others.  I have learned a lot about the

My adventure just gets better and better.  Well, there was the travel day from hell, but even that turned out ok.  At least I caught my flight!  I am in Mississigua now after almost 2 days of Dave & Shannon.  Great couple.  I went on a "date" with Dave last night.  Wow!  I haven't been out alone with a man in years and years.  It was delightful!  We had a couple drinks and talked and talked.  Yes!  I drank not one, but TWO glasses of wine!  Nice......

I wonder if I could get used to this west coast stuff.  Just knowing that the rest of the country is up and at it when I am just crawling out of bed....hmmm.  Fun times yesteday!  We went to the beach.  Meemoos, myself, and the little Mees.  The weather got just a little better just for us, but it was still c-c-c-cold!  We walked the beach looking for, well, anything, had lunch at Mo's, best clam chowder ever, and topped that off with a Blizzard from DQ.  Good stuff.  I guess putting it out there that I needed to be fed or I would waste away was a good idea.  LOL
