The rooster let me sleep in today!  That is, if you call 6:45 sleeping in...  For me, it is, anyways.  So, he gets to live another day!

We had some bad storms last night.  There were some tornado warnings close by, but I just went to bed and hoped I was still here in the morning.  I am.  It's going to be a lovely day, too!  w00t!  It's the first day of the rest of my life!

Here I am again.  It's 6:00 am and I have been awake for a while.  Sleep is a big deal to me.  A precious commodity.  I get teased a lot cuz I go to bed so early.  Well, I need at least 7 hours sleep, better yet 8 or 9, but it rarely happens.  Why?  The music of wild animals bringing in the dawn.  The tweety birds are really not too bad.  We have the A/C on, so the windows are shut.  But, we live in the woods, so the singing is abundant at the crack of dawn.  The rooster, on the other hand......  Ahhhh, he is beautiful!  He's big, struts around in his cocky way, and has pretty, almost irrid

You had a question about follow up.  As I said to you, follow up after cancer diagnosis is for life.  If I understand correctly, the diagnosis was non-hodgkins lymphoma of the stomach lining.  Wow.  Not all that common.  But the guidelines for follow up are

A woman was very distraught at the fact that she had not had a date or any sex in quite some time. She was afraid she might have something wrong with her, so she decided to seek the medical expertise of a sex therapist.

Her doctor recommended that she see the well know Chinese sex therapist, Dr. Chang.

So she went to see him. Upon entering the examination room Dr. Chang said 'OK take off all your crose.' The woman did as she was told. 'Now get down and craw reery, reery fass to odderside of room.'

I was working today and one of the nurses came up to me and asked had I heard about the bus hitting someone? I said, um, no....What about it? The woman died. Yikes! Well, we looked it up on the local TV station website and, sure as the world, it had happened. When we first saw it, it said it happened on Manning Drive by Columbia. Wow! That's like right in front of the hospital! I would have seen it all if I would have just looked out the window. Not that I wanted to. It happened at 11:00, and by noon there was no one in the entire hospital that didn't know about it.
