I've been a huge fan of Infected Mushroom for years now. They haven't put out a new CD since '04 and it's too bad because in my opinion they are an excellent hybrid of rock & techno. If you're one of those "I can't stand techno" people but enjoy a good power-chord guitar strumming, give these guys a serious listen.

The video is a bit odd, but the track is awesome. It's due out on a new CD this spring.

Wii
Still having fun with the Wii, although I'm bored with most of the Wii sports games except for bowling. I don't know what it is...but I could play bowling for hours if time permitted me to do so. My next purchase will most likely be either Wii Play or Super Swing Golf. I kind of wish Nintendo would have put a few more features/time into the golf game for Wii sports.

First Impressions of the Wii

Setup was cake. Not that it's terribly important for techno-types but for the nubs of the world that's probably nice.
Creating my Mii was surprisingly fun. I think my wife had more fun doing that than playing some of the Wii Sports games.

Boxing....*panting* yeah, boxing was fun...<wipes sweat off of brow..>
Baseball - I think I threw out my arm trying to hit home runs....seriously.

It was a mere 14 years ago, eons in the gaming industry, that I found myself engulfed in intergalactic war, tightly clasping my multi-button joystick, and twitching each time I saw a green laser go flashing by my monitor. Being able to play the Death Star trench run was a treat I don't think many gamers of the time would pass up the chance to experience.
