Well here we are again at the beginnings of a brand new week.

As I mentioned last week, we had our first house party Saturday night. We had a great time, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Although at one point, a couple of our friends said:

"hey we're going up the street to have a drink, why don't you come with us"?

me: "Um no, I'm hosting a party..you know, the one I invited you to"?

Well another weekend is almost upon us.

Work has been excruciatingly slow this week.  During season you pray for a little slow time, and then when it finally hits you're looking for anything to do to pass the time.  At least we have an internet connection here that really isn't moderated - thank god for small favors.

I can't for the life of me figure out why people get so bent out of shape when their blog gets a negative rating.  Really, do people think that all 11,000+ people on this site are going to agree with every post you place?

Hi All,

Thanks to everyone who gave me advice regarding my dog situation.  My wife and I decided to go ahead and pick up the other dog.  So as of Sunday, we have a new addition to the Wilderz household.  The bulldog we got is just 3 weeks younger than our other bull, although she is bigger.....OK.  The mother of my dog is a bit on the small side so I'm thinking it's a genetics thang.
