Snappy or Krupt is there any setting to reduce or remove the front and back movement (g forces against the body) 1- dont like how far back it pushes you from the dash 2- making in game wheel hub visible on some cars. Thanks for the help so far. Regarding graphic setting I was able to get about 49FPS with 19 cars plus me (prototype) at start finish line (no rolling start) and as high as 80 when the pack thinned out . Running 2x R9290 on Triple 47" HDTV's .
This. I appreciate that SMS has this setting but it is off putting to me since I am not actually moving but playing again where I am stationary. Those movements make me queasy since I am in a stationary position. They can be dialed out though.
think i jsut about got my wheel dialed in now, game feels great
What settings are you using in-game Gizzie with your TX wheel?
i cant remember i will take note and post up tom, but its different from forza in that each car has FF settings as well as the global settings andyou need feck around with both to get it right
Hey guys, I will be around Tuesday night on the Xbox One. I have ordered the digital copy and have it set to go for day one. I will probably be on most of the morning and then back again Tuesday evening. Hope to see some of you then.
Pre ordered and downloaded for the Xbox. But it is just sitting in my queew (mispelled I know). Will it go to my games once it hits midnight?? Ive never bought digital BEFORE release.
It shoulld be in your games as soon as it's done downloading. Mine is. try opening it, it should tell you to be patient or some nonsense...
Its in both my games and queue. When I try to open it tells me I can play in on 5/12/15. Just worried me that it is sitting in my queue...maybe it will need an update....Im just freaking out a little
Yes it's currently some what fubared due to a bug with xbox a patch is in the works, for now use the controller setup work around tips posted by snappy
I'm getting there myself, even at this early stage I like the handling physics and think it's better than Forza. Hey Gizzie I found you on the Project Cars forums
So the Clio on the controller... seriously why does the back end come out for seemingly no reason? I'm all over the place with this car.
If you play on a controller and don't plan on getting a wheel, I'd hesitate to recommend this at the moment. I can post top 100 times in Forza 5, can barely get around the track in one piece on pCARS.
I came across this on the forums for Xbox users check your install and make sure the pcars file is 18.5gb a few are reporting it as only begining 18.1gb which means the day 1 patch is not installed...to force your Xbox to download it hard reset your Xbox
http://forum.projectcarsgame.com/showthread.php?23016-Game-size-18-5-not...
this won't completely fix the controller issues as its still being worked on and coming shortly but will sort some other issues
As for the clio try adjusting the brakes and softening the rear....it will also take 2-3 laps to get up to temp and the rears usually stay cooler with less grip being a fwd car. Your biggest issue is most likely the controller bug make sure your controller is updated and follow the links snappy posted till the patch is released
I've done all of that. Anxiously waiting the patch to see what it actually accomplishes. I can see there is a very excellent game here but for now it's only if you have a wheel. There's practice, qualifying, flags, fuel, tire usage, customizable pit stops, and more. Everything you could want.
Time to start saving my pennies for a Playseat and Thrustmaster TX and stop spending them on my stereo.

Racedepartment and ISR forums both have a buy and sell thread on there forums where you can pick up stuff for a decent price

@ Ink. Try setting world movement to 100.
I hope there is a 90's BTCC car pack in the future. Renault Laguna here:

As skeptical as I am, I just preordered it and it's downloading. Worst case, I have to wait a while to save up for a wheel setup.
once the patch/update is released for the xbox things should be much better!

Just got off the phone, I'll be leaving out of town tomorrow morning for two weeks....
Happy camper is not in my vocabulary ATM...
C-Pro...I Think Your Points Lead is Safe For Now??
The steering with the controller is very different to Forza, I will need a lot of practice methinks
It took a while for me to adapt, but I`m getting there...Game still needs some sort of controller update though!

I have the game downloaded and waiting for 11 PM. Now to figure out an excuse for missing work
Why 11pm? Does the game unlock at 12am EST? If so, that means I can play it starting at 9pm PST tonight.

You can't adjust the suspension stiffness on the Clio?
I lowered the rear tire pressure, softened the rear ARB, and a slight front bias to the brakes and now the Clio is a lot better.
Ordered the TX, @Gizzie: I might need some help with proper settings!
