Just about had enough of this, I have lost out on races several times due to Nat conflicts and always on a sunday, I do all I am supposed to reset everything to have hours of my time wasted. If I dont get on for the stcc I am going to have a serious think about if I want to continue in series...
I'm with three and the sevice line is in india and fecking useless, dont undertand why it ok most the time and fucks up at others...I know the IP adresses are reissued on a sunday that is why I reset everything...Maybe it is a conflict with someone in the room..
I was leading the first race until lap 12-13 when Tourni passed me, catched him three corners before finish line (@uphill) and lost my win by 10-15 meters, it was that last turn where I failed...Second race wasn´t that easy, started from last place, but somehow managed to pull up to 4th. There was some really nice racing going on and only few very minor contacts.

After all I´m quite pleased with my results!
It what I was going to put, but the opposite races round. Got tapped in the first, which put me 9th and made it back to 4th.
Was leading first race up till 12th-13th lap for which then tourni got me :-( but kept up with him and was catching on some of the corners, but he was just too daring coming out of the faster corners and managed to hold it.
Damn him.... Could have stoved it for a change. :-)

Gizze apologise for the nudge on the second race, I think we both had chosen a different line but the intersection point was the same for each one.
On such a long race it really shows what a second a lap means in terms of distance, I thought I was doing quite well at 2.02 but when the front runners are in the 2.00 and 2.01 think I was lucky to get the result I did.
However, my chest hair is now just coming in nicely so expect next week to be more of the same!

That was a great drive by all - certainly an improvement in your driving there cyber. You were much more controlled when i was around you. I was pushing my luck in 2.00's but i had to do it to close the gap :) Replays have been sent to Spaz, so hopefully we will get some good reviews of it.
Just couldn't keep up with the pack today but going from a 2.07.500 in practice on Saturday to a 2.03.350 in race 2, I'll call that good progress and be hapy about it!
grrrrr, shit, damned,.... grrrrr ...... after 14 days of training and a sunday, where I really was excited for the EUSL-race this fucking Microsoft xbox didn't let me into the race. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! Just 1 minute before I had a trainingsrace with Antz and everything went well the whole weekend.
And then? FRUSTRATING! For nearly 2 hours I tried everything. I coulnd't even connect to public lobbies anyore. The router was okay and nearly 25 times rebooted. The xbox seemed to be okay too (10 times booted). and at 22:30 german time suddenly ....... I had a connection. At 23:30 everything was okay. Without doing or changing something.
What is going on there? Was there a change at Forza? Where can I get informations about technical problems? Is there a website with announcements? It is so boring, stupid, bad, ...... I don't know the right words in english......

I hear you brother, and your english is good enough to say what you want. There must have been a problem with either Forza or Xbox Live, sometimes the option to join a session was missing from the list of options when I clicked on a friends name. Come on over to Gone Broke Racing, rFactor is harder but they have their own survers to race and practise on and there is a once a month series that fits our time zone running now and another couple in the pipeline. I am not leavig Forza as I like being with 2O4E and most of the time get into races, but I cannot invest so much time practicing for a race that I may not get to run.
@ Zeratul - That is one hell of an improvement :) Nice going!!
@Knight and Jdankerrt - Unfortunatly when these problems arise, there is nothing you can do :( I do open the room on average 30 minutes before the race to do our best to resolve these problems. I do ask everyone to make sure there xbox is either in the DMZ or the appropriate port forwarding has been set up.
i will award you both last place points for being present and trying to get in.
All these things were done Tourni...I guess I will just treat Forza as a game and invest less time and energy in it. Alternatives have made themselves available that are a little less frustrating (so far) in terms of online use. I am fed up with Sundays being a matter of stamping around turning things on and off over and over again when the problem is elsewhere...If I have spent less time on it it would be less frustrating...Annoying because I like to do things properly. Ah well I'm sure everything will go swimmingly for the next few weeks, lull me into a false sense of security and I will be back to hours of practice again LOL
Sorry I missed yesterday. Buddy became available with his trailer to get the 914 over to the new house, and it was looking to be the only day he was going to have free for this month. On the plus side, the xBrick and entertainment center (along w/ interwebs) is up and running at the new house now.

I had the same problem and had to ring up the ISP to get it changed. Since then no problems.

I reckon thats a pretty reasonable time, i would like to say we'd be seeing 20's perhaps 21s :)
