Jaysus I'll be happy to see the back of this car, first race after the first couple of laps yawnsville, second was enlivened by a race long battle with Zeratul, not one touch just how I like it, so sod all points but I knew that was on the cards. But at least I got a race and that as I say often, is as much fun be it for first or tenth.

Apologies for 1st race rammage on Antz :) - then brilliantly held by cyber for 6 or so laps until 1 mistake and then not enough time to get on antz's bumper.
Great second race. Think I learned something about defensive driving thanks to a great opportunist move by Bastek.
Bit rusty, consistency was not great and I need to practice more, but given how tired I still feel I think that is just not going to happen.

Bastek is running away with 1st but the battle for 2nd is very much on between Antz, Knight, PArcells, Steviegers, Zeratul, Fityz and Cyberdawg! just 8 points seperate them!!!

Poidsly, I was concentrating so hard on that first race, driving as defensively as possible whilst still trying to keep the speed up that I knew a mistake was coming! Great education though and really enjoyable.
Second race with Stevie was the most fun I think I have ever had with Forza! It was really really close for most of the race with both of us making little mistakes that saw the distance close and grow until the final lap when I managed to get the drive out of sharp left after the S bends and claim the inside line, measured throttle application meant I kept the advantage down the long straight as we both went for the same bit of grass on the right hander. Didn't touch and got the drive out of the final series of bends to take a very hard fought 7th. Saved the replay and will be laughing at it again tonight with a glass of Black Tower and some cheese and Pineapple....
I know there are many that don't like the Mustangs but unlike the Mini/Camaro wars this is much closer and it is fun to see others outside of their comfort zone. Looking forward to next week and more of the same.
To complement my Chest hair and Medallion I am proud to announce that My Jason King Tache is coming in Strong, I would suggest you Plastic Mustang drivers take a trip to the salon to get your roots done and a manicure ahead of next weeks epic battle.

Zeratul is one of the best in the clan at driving defensively and cleanly. You did well to hold off the pressure from him.
It was shame about your DC on that race Helios, pretty sure you would have taken 2nd as you had a huge lead and very good pace! I was driving hard to catch you. In both races actually :)

Sorry guys my Sundays for the next few months are going to be crazy with work and other things, I will not be taking part in any more races which is a shame. Maybe I'll have more time when EUSL v4 comes around.
Race 1 I had a disconnect about 4-5 laps in while leading about 3 seconds ahead of Tourni. I wasn't thinking win while I was out front because I knew Tourni was going to catch me...but I was thinking first ever podium w/ the "Big Dogs". Whilst I refrained from pitching the controller across the room (barely), there were plenty of colorful obscenities being tossed around. I did some experimentation, including internet speed tests...and it appears my router has gone bunk.
Race 2 (with the xBrick plugged straight into the modem) was epic. I do not forsee me having a better race...ever. A rare instance of a car that clicked w/ me on a track I really enjoy (and am halfway decent at) saw my best ever EUSL finish...and first podium. It certainly wasn't easy, I spent the early stages trying to find a way around Bastek, who was also trying to get around Gizzie. The battle between Bastek and I allowed Gizzie to pull away a bit...and Tourni to close. I finally got clear after a couple of attempts and set chase for Gizzie. About the time I caught Gizzie, Tourni had cleared Bastek and caught up to me (bringing Poidsley & Bastek in tow). I was able to hold Tourni off for 3 laps or so until he finally got a run off the final chicane onto the front straight. I latched onto his bumper as we took chase after Gizzie who opened up a small gap due to the battling. From there to the end of the race, it was all I could do to keep Poidsley & Bastek in check. I caught a little bit of a break w/ a couple to go when the two of them were embroiled in a battle for position, and was able to build a small cushion and take chase after Gizzie. But with only 2 to go, I pretty much had no hopes of catching him. But in the end, I'm more than happy w/ 3rd...a result that I think I'll be hard pressed to ever repeat. Excellent racing...very close and minimal contact...and none of it shoved anyone off the track or unsettled cars at all. That one was one for the history books!
Race 1 went well until I lost controller connection 3 times in 1 minute, so I decided to quit. The reason for this propably is that I had to set up my display in to other room, so I was about 8-10 meters away from my Xbox. Wireless controller has it´s limits and that´s ok, at least I know how to set up my system next week!
Race 2 was pure awesomeness, almost! Excellent, clean and very close racing with Antz - until Xbox-menu decided to pop up and my car went bonkers! Only thing that I´m glad of is that I didn´t pull Antz out at the same time...If I remember correct, we were side by side @ that moment!
Yeah, this is one where I'd expect to see a few offs. Includes a very fast sweeper to master and once again the two uphill s's are ready to kick you off.

Well that was some impressive racing there guys, plenty of battles upfront, midfield and at the back. Some people are getting seriously quick! :)
Been really suprised that You didn't took place back on the end - i did few time cost mistakes plus fanatec wheel paddles played with me.....
First race been nice - i start from the end and go up up up keep away of contacts .....
