So how big is Forza gaming? Or is there a thread where you guys discuss this? I just want to know if this is where I realize there is no spoon and every body is playing this game but no one talks to people about it who don't play it...kind of like dont talk about fight club?
Well, if I had to guess, I'd say we've consistently got about 50-60 active members. Meaning those people play on an almost daily basis. the rest of our group is more casual. plus i never bother removing inactive members. I wouldn't say tht we're like fight club so much. It's less about us not talking about foza than it is us being super pro-active about bringing new members in that others often don't hear about us until they visit our now open forums. So, because I snatch up every forza player i see here on 2o2p, our discussions never leak outside of our forums. I love 2o2p & everything it's got to offer, but for some folks, forza is the only game they play. So they don't venture outside our hallowed halls into the rest of the site much. So if you'd like to go out & preach about the wonders of Forza, please do so.
Or maybe it's just that we're so fucking awesome, we don't need to preach the gospel of 2O4F lol.

Some of our members are actually someof forza fastest racers. Gran turismo 7 sony pretty much have the cmpetitive racing market cornered on the consoles via their gt acaademy program. they actually have a tv series on Velocity network where they take a field of GT players & put them through a series of driving challenges where the winner actually gets a ride in a Nissan factory team car. Some of the racers that have gon through the program have even been banned from racing some series because they are too fast for the amateurs, yet too inexperienced to qualify for pro ranking. That's saying something if you asked me.
If I were to get into racing games, should I get Forza 4 or Forza Horizon? I played a ton of Gran Turismo 1 and 2, and Demolition Racer, but now I'm strictly Xbox 360.
In addition, Horizon encourages bad habits, like running off the road, hitting objects, etc that is counter
to good racing technique and sportsmanship. Think of it as an open world Need for Speed or Grand Theft Auto type genre.

I have a problem i need some help with and wasn't sure if this was the right area but here goes.... i cannot take photos or save replays at all. everytime i go to save a photo or replay i just the message "your save file is corrupt. please delete it from the xbox dashboard and create a new one". It's been saving my game ok just not photos or replays. anyone seen this before?
Yes, you have to go to your dashboard & find your forza save file by using the memory management. When you find your forza save, click on it & you'll see several sub-files. Delete the photo/replay file & it will work again. You will of course lose any previously saved pics or replays though.
WE've got people from all over in central. I added you there because the guy in charge of the east division has been taking a break whilst breaking in his new pc racing setup.Snappy's xbl tag is Gentleman racer if you want to message him for an east division invite, but it's not required.

no we don't. I used to pop into site chat occasionally, but rarely saw anyone on there. Or if they were, they weren't talking much. I could have sworn that we used to be able to use faceboo chat for the group, but I don't think that group pages have that feature anymore.

You can also search by gamertag
or, if you know a specific term, you can serach by it. For instance, I try to always put "oldschool" in all my descriptions...and also many of mine have 2o4f in them, so that would work, and many others here use that as well.
But I wouldn't spend more than 1k on a tune, and if it's our guys, buy it, try it, and then if you like it, message them, usually they'll send it to you unlocked.
You can even use the your storeront> friends storefront> their friends storefront.
If someone is on your friends list, that is the easiest way to find their stuff. Just follow these instructions....
go to the multiplayer menu & select the SF.
Next select "My storefront"
when you get to your SF, hit your "y" button & select view friends SF. Ta-da.
I've probably got a few other non Sf realted game tips I will share with you tomorow when we do our racing school session.
May I also suggest not blowing your money on tunes in the SF. Tunes purchased off the Sf are locked. Meaning that you can't adjust the tuning settings or build. It also means that you can't see how hey built or set the car up. My suggestion would be to post up here & request a tune for whatever car/cars you are looking for. chances are someone has already got what you're looking for & can gift it over to you. the benefit to a gifted tune or design is that it will be unlocked. so you can look at how they built it 7 what the tuning settings are.

All events at 2Old4Forza are currently on Forza 4 and I cannot see any events happening on Forza Horizon anytime... ever
Both have free demos on xbox live, 4 is for racing, horizon is for fun, 4 is good long term, horizon is short term attention.
