Sorry I missed this tonight, after a few hours thrashing cars around to try a get a fix on the wheel, which seems to be working, had a break for some food, and then feel asleep, note to self, "Must try harder", having run a few laps today, I agree with Knight its going to be a tight race on this track, consistancy is going to be key me thinks, any errors will be punished, its going to be so much fun, win lose or draw.
One of the races tonight more than any gave a clue what this series will be like...just four Fairladys nose to tail no one giving an inch looking for the slightest chance to get by the car in front I think I am going to run this as two races back to back to ensure we get full replays, might rethink the scoring as well...but for sure I'm looking forward to it
Hmm must give that a go...Sorry Pap got it in my head you were a controller user. Tourni is inhumanly smooth with his inputs so I'm still on the fence when it comes to tunes for one or the other, I do know I get on with your tunes better than some others, but that could have as much to do with different driving styles as anything else. I also do well with Churches and he is a Pad user....so I may lean a little to your side
Man's a legend and that "Never put the power on until you don't have to take it off" goes through my mind several times a race :-)
indeed, but alot of people miss the "walking up to an angry dog, talk to it on the way" :) So, get on the throttle when you know you can and get on it smoothly until it barks :)
Okay I hope to have enough this week to run a few test races prior to the Fairlady Cup...Not sure of track yet will post it tomorrow. Not one of the series tracks this week...Maybe Nurburgring short circuit.
Well, that was fun...cheers to the guys that turned up Gave an insight into what the series will be like. Some real close racing and yes Fitzy the bill is in the post.
So after a hard and long day of Martial arts tuition and some even harder sparring I left all my mates to drink BBQ and make merry to return to host this event...Half an hour goes by and I am still sat in a lobby on my own....I'm sure everyone has a good reason and maybe I should have just cancelled and enjoyed a night out but there was no hint that no one was going to turn up. So this event is now on hold until Cotter comes up with his race school idea when it will be back.

Apologies, I arose at 5am, drove 2 hours and worked on my retirement fund until 1PM today and then drove the 2 hours back, stopping for a rather fine meal in the process...

All beginners should watch this :) Particularly listen to what Jackie is saying about persuading the car to do some thing and about throttle :)

Never mind the bark...it's the bite LOL
haha well it does bite, but its not quite as hard when your smooth but not slow with the inputs :)

Knight,
Decent chance Parcells will join you guys today. Can you send me the build/tune for this car please and thank you.
I tried to share it in the club garage, but the tune must be locked. Will send it over next time I'm on.
Not sure I'm going to make it tonight, will try and hustle the visitors out the door before it starts, we'll see.
Just to confirm, Nurburgring short. I be trying to sort out the room for the series so prepare for a little chaos

Feel for ya fella.
Although this week has been crazy quite.
Look at Wednesday night only 5 of us from S - R1.
Where is everyone?
I guess the longer days give folk more inclination to be out and about rather than indoors playing Forza...
We could take our forza outside?
Say's the man without the 60" rear projection made from marine ply and weighing half a ton...

If it helps, I wanted to race...
Yeah sorry boss sats are getting harder to find free time with 3 boys all fighting for my
attention and all the football that was on today
