GTA 4 getting bad press already

I wanted this story to go away - I really did, but since it's #5 on Yahoo's most read list...ugh...I have to post it...

For the record, I think this is assinine in every sense of the word.

God Bless MS for trying

You know sometimes MS customer "support" just irks me like when they told me to go take a hike after I scratched the code off a $20 MS points card.

But then they do things like this that make you go, "Awww... that's nice..."

WOO HOO!

So my wife is driving home form the YMCA yesterday with the radio on. KT Tunstall's Black Horse and the Cherry Tree is playing. Suddenly out of nowhere my 2 year old son starts belting out "WOO HOO" in time with the music. If you've never heard a 2 year old sing a pop song, you haven't lived life to its fullest :)

My cousin Andy (might have been 18 months old at the time) used to wake up from his naps and catch us listening to the Flashdance soundtrack and you could hear him jumping up and down in his crib yelling out "Umchuka! Umchuka!" from Donna Summer's "Romeo".

Project Sylpheed?

Does anyone know if the new "Project Sylpheed" bears any relationship to the game of the same name published by Sierra in the late 80's / early 90's?  I believe it was a sequel to Thexder...anyone remember that?

3x8

So everyone always says "what's up with the 3x8"?

I found another example of where this plays in.  I was looking at old photographs tonight of my daughter's birth and I took a picture of the scale they put her in literally minutes after she was born.

Her weight?

8 pounds, 8.8 ounces.
