Halo 3 Campaign

I refuse to read this on the grounds that it might spoil the game for me but that doesn't mean you have to abide by the same rules.  If anyone wants to cut the section out about The Forge and plug it into the comments I would be eternally grateful.

Comic-Con 2007

(sigh)

ok, first I need to complain a little bit (as I usually do).

WTF does Star Trek have to do with Comics?  Battlestar Galactica? Why does Star Wars get its own DAY at Comic-Con? What's next - are we going to see movies like HairSpray at ComicCon?  (ugh)  There are so many things at Comic Con which have absolutely no remote connection to comic books whatsoever.  Why don't they just call it Geek Entertainment Extravaganza 2007.  GEE!  (ugh)

This could be trouble...

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this will end up causing some commotion in high schools across the country...the example given here is quite tame, but it won't stay that way.  You can see it now...Johnny gets sent home from school for having the F-bomb written on his shirt even though no one can see it.

Paying for Demos

The Halo 3 Beta was one thing.  This is something completely different, and uncalled for.  Ok, on the one hand I buy the argument that if you don't want it then don't buy it.  But isn't the whole purpose of a demo to sell a game?  So if you have to buy something in order to see if you want to pay EVEN MORE for it, well that's where I draw the line.

Sioux Center Sudan

My wife and children have gone to visit some old friends we left behind in Milwaukee.  I have never been especially good by myself and my church happens to hold midweek services.  I decided it would be good for me to go to church rather than go home for the night from work.

Our church was host tonight to a drama group from Northwestern College (not the better known private university from Evanston, IL) who performed a production called "Sioux Center Sudan".

More Yahoo! Personals Complaining

So I blogged recently about the travails of Aubrey and her quest to find a man.  Well maybe I should have made that plural as I have now seen Aubrey in the arms of no less than four different guys!  What a tramp!

But seriously, Yahoo...can I PLEASE opt out of these retarded ads?  Can't you just show me pictures of cheap laptops and knock off digital cameras instead?  I'm just getting a bit tired of the whole "Personals" song and dance.
