Dove

I just ate one of those little tiny Dove dark chocolate candies - on the inside of the wrapper, Dove puts little messages.  Mine said:

Smile.  People will wonder what you've been up to.

I'm smiling like a maniac and noone's asked.  Oh well.  That's what I get for trying to live my life by what Dove tells me.

How Life Worked Out

Life didn't work out the way I planned it.

I think the idealism of youth is actually wasted on the young, ironically.  We dream growing up and then, suddenly, we're older and we don't dream but we wish things were different (and there's a big difference there).  As a kid, we want to be older - to drive, to get a job, to get married... but, when we're older, we wish we could not have responsibilities and be a kid again.  What ever happened to making a whole game out of a stick and some rocks?  There are a lot of things that I thought as a kid that haven't exactly panned out.

Chicago LAN

I attempted, for like 30 minutes, to post all the thoughts on my 2o2p BLOG but the system didn't like the HTML rich text, so I posted it on my website with a link-back to my blog (so you can post your comments forever and ever).

Read my LAN recap at:

Then post your comments on my BLOG at:

Duplicity in offensiveness

During the 90's, I got a crash course in what is considered "PC".  Overall, I think a lot of it is crap, to be honest - I mean, some things are such idiotic pathetic attempts for personal gain than a true work towards a better cause that it just makes me throw up (just a little in my mouth).  However, there still is a place for being dilligent as to some words that can cause grief.

Lets find out a few more things about each other.  NOTE: We may regret this later.

I like to build legos with my son, maybe not odd to some, but if you saw the amount of legos that we had, you might think differently.

Halo 2 Team Slayer Rant

OK, not a rant - Im not really the rant type.  I want to be, but Rashanii has me beat hands down in that category.  Really, about all I can muster up is strong indignation.  So, here is my Indignation:

Studies Show

A recent study showed that 68.3% of all statistics are made up.

Last night, I was watching TV and I swear there was an add for a program where they said "Tomorrow on Today".  I think it was a Tivod program which meant they aired it yesterday... yeah, Yesterday they said Tomorrow on Today.  I have a headache...

Buying a new Dishwasher

So our current dishwasher, that I believe is as old as our house, is failing.  Not failing to stir water around, just failing to actually remove all dirt and soap from the dishes which was our fervent hope.

Its time for a replacement.
