First we find our that the Penny Arcade Expo is coming to Boston, and now we have our own ComicCon (a real one, not the crappy, 5 room, hidden in a basement excuse for a comic book show that we are used to around here). May the winters are not too bad after all.

My girl and I went to a local antique shop today here in Boston. Actually in Cambridge, if you want to get techinical (the locals do seem to care about these things). Anyway, this place called the Cambridge Antique Market (marketantique.com/) is pretty cool. It has five stories of antiques ranging in everything from old lamps to 70' s era kitch. I have stopped by this place on several occasions in the past and have never really found anything that I had to have.

My girlfriend is always uber-creative with the presents that she chooses to give me. Today, Valentine's Day 2010, was no exception. Check out the killer card and hilarious gift that was awaiting upon starting my day today. It should be noted, that we have had a ongoing Chicken-related inside joke between us for most of the five years that we have been together. Not sure how this started, but we have been known to spontaneously break out in loud chicken noises in public for no apparent reason. Always good for strange looks and laughs.
