Thanks to John (Blckdog7) and Craigslist, some friends and I ventured out into the great white nothing to chase down a few cheap games today.

I woke up at 7 am to ready myself for a run to Mansfield, MA today to chase down a collection of 3 1/2 games (see below for an explanation of the fraction) that were posted on MA Craigslist recently. When I went out on my porch, this is the view that greeted me.

I broke the 4 Million point level on my Robotron arcade cab today, I am seriously "training" about 2 hours a day and hope to be able to break the "contemporary" record of 40 Million in the spring of this year. Stay tuned as I continue this quest. If all goes well, I may try to set up some kind of event where I can do this live. At the rate that my skills are improving, I am confident that I can do this.

So my girl and I promised not to get one another Christmas presents this year as money is very tight. Of course, neither of us followed the letter of this agreement to the T. I worked on her Ms. Pac-Man Machine and got it up and running a few weeks prior to the Holiday as her present. Well, while I was at work today, she picked me up a little stocking stuffer. Though this present was not pricey by any means, it definitely showed that she knows me and has a little wit about her as well.

So who is up for a little DK Jenga?

Well, I have been working like a dog in the retail world for the past few weeks and have not had much time to play online or post here at 2oldplay. I miss all my peeps here and hope to become more active soon after the New Year.

My morning started out pretty rough as I was suffering the after effects of my girl's spicy pasta and garlic bread from last night. Was very tasty, but doing a big number on me today. So after praying to the gods for a bit, I headed out to the to a local arcade warehouse at around 8:30. On the way, I swung by the bank to pick up a bill and then by Dunkin Donuts to grab the warehouse crew some coffee which I told them I would bring the next time I showed up.
