ok, This morning I woke up with cravings from hell.  Seriously, I took my daughter o nursery at 8am this morning and wanted a debate with one of the staff there over something stupid.  My horns are starting to grow and I think Im gona turn into an evil bastard that will propbably be divorced by the end of it.

Well I had my last cigarette last night at about 10.30pm.  I was really not sad to see it finished either until this morning.

Yup thats right.  Im a smoker and I intend to give up tomorrow.  I have been smoking over half my life now and am feeling that it is time to give up for health, financial reasons and lso that I would like to stay around a little more to be with my wife and child.

I used to be really fit as I played American football a lot but the last few years I havent really exercised at all, added to that I have asthma (yeah, you can call me a tool now) and this is leading to some severe problems with my lungs.  Asthma attacks and breathlessness are up, feeling bright and alert are down.

kk, just a little update on the health of our poorly rat.  I was really thinking the worst last night but for some reason she doesnt want to let go at all.  We did notice something though and that was that she couldnt open her mouth properly.  She seemed more co-ordinated but just weak from  not feeding properly.  We took her back to the vets this morning and we are trying her on one more dose of steroids to give her some strength to get through this.

Also we had her teeth clipped just incase that was causing the problem of her not feeding properly.  Heres hoping eh!

ok, this post is a little look on the bright side compared to the one before.

My wife had her first scan on Tuesday. ;; I went with her, of course. ;; All parents here will know what a first scan is like. ;; Youre hoping that everything is ok with them and they measure up fine and all complications at this stage can be ruled out. ;; You are also a little nervous of seeing your new addition for the first time too. ;; You know, pregnancy tests show that your wife is pregnant but you havent seen anything yet.

I havent been playing a lot over the last few days because of various reasons. ;; The main reason being that we have a pet rat that is very ill and we have been looking after her for a few days now.

My last few days I have been playing Oblivion.  A lot.  I havent clocked up any where near the amount of hours that my wife has on it but am making steady progress now and starting to feel the buzz of the whole Oblivion game.  I took me a while for me to get into Morrowind too but once I was hooked I was playing for 250 + hours.  I have now become the arena champion and am steadily progressing through the dark brotherhood quests with a couple of the town side quests being achieved along the way.

Finally we got our game against USA 1 for control of Drydock in the Graw world war tournament. ;; I had been playing during the afternoon and was feeling quite confident with the way I was playing but was concerned who was gonna turn up for our team. ;; We had an 8 man team ready to go but had problems connecting with the team. ;; By the time we had connected (took 40 minutes) half of our players had left which left me with a team that hadnt actually played with each other properly. ;;

Hello again guys.  I am starting to get used to this blog thing now and its just a matter of time before I get used to putting all my thoughts on here for you to read.  Anyway, I was getting prety pissed off at our UK connection speeds and services.  You guys over in the States know what its like to play the British on their host etc, laggy, latency, red bar need I say more?

Hey all that are bothered at reading this.  This is the first time that I have ever tried anything like this so youll have to bear with me for a while so I can get used to it.

Anyway, An Umpaloompa and myself after a few chats through one of the threads have decided to add to the 2old2play clans and create a 2old2play UK division.  Doodirock has given us his blessing so I am just about to now get the clan online and create a new account too.  I know there arent a lot of UK gamers on here at the moment but hopefully we can recruit and get a load more of us out there.
