88 - Brain Wracking, New PSU & MOAR ZOMBIES!

A bit of a slow/quiet weekend. My girlfriend and I had our first shared, full day off in a fortnight on Saturday, but were unable to take advantage of it like we planned due to us not having any money :( This left us somewhat ticked off, but we survived, as it's becoming a more and more common occurrence of late. I can't even remember what it was we did now - I guess it can't have been too exciting. Although, we did start drinking early on, and I got into quite a state, and ended up having to make myself sick before I could lie down without the room spinning.

87 - No New Cat, but OMG Zombies!

So - no new cat. My girlfriend and I had a heart-to-heart last night and decided that it wasn't for the best that Tigger comes to us. Essentially, he's too old and Annie's too flighty/stroppy/jumpy. We struggled through point/counterpoint last night. My girlfriend was great - she would have went along with it if I had honestly thought that we could make it work. In the end, after a fair bit of soul-searching, I agreed that it wasn't going to work out.

86 - Lolz Famous, a New Toon and a New Cat.

Eep. A bit of a larger gap than usual, but I've actually been quite busy. Things are going well over at Massively, with my last column being linked on the BBC News Technology site, which resulted in us/me getting plenty of attention, so I spent last weekend feeling very pleased with that fact that I was famous on teh intarwebz for a while.

85 - w00t Epic Mount

I finally managed to save up 5,200 Gold in WoW, and picked up a Swift Red Windrider for Verbatim. Sweet Jesus, that thing is fast! The 'normal' flying mount travels 60% faster than your regular running pace, while the 'swift' flying mount travels at 280% faster. That's not a typo - my new flying mount moves almost three times as fast in the air as I do on foot unmounted.

84 - Driving Practice and Daily Quests

Eep - my mock practical test did not go well on Monday night. God only know what was wrong with me, but I was all over the place. I nearly ran a red light, kept missing speed limit signs and ened up going too slow, and completely screwed up a three-point turn. It's safe to say that I've not driven that badly in months. I know for a fact that I wasn't paying enough attention, I was probably still cocky from passing the theory test.  Not to worry, I'll try again next week.
