Seventy-Fourth

Apologies for the gap in posting, folks - I've been busier than usual at work. Honestly.

My painting has ground to a halt as I'm waiting on new models coming in at the end of this week, and although I've got some more sitting in a box, I want to get my two core squads painted up first before I move on to anything else. They should arrive Friday/Saturday, so I'll get started on them again next week, and update you on the progress.

Whee - got a long weekend, been choked with a really heavy cold all of lat week, as has my girlfriend, so I felt like I needed a day or tow to get myself back together.

I have used the time productively, and have got some more painting done, here are some samples.

Seventy-First

Wow,  we had an actual power cut here last night, just as we were going to bed. Bit of a close call actually - if it had been even half an hour later, we would have been asleep and never noticed until 11 this morning, and our respective bosses were calling us up to find out where we were! Fortunately, we were reconnected in about an hour or so, so no loss of food in the fridge or freezer. I also got in late yesterday evening, so there was no painting to report on anyway.

Seventy-First

Wow,  we had an actual power cut here last night, just as we were going to bed. Bit of a close call actually - if it had been even half an hour later, we would have been asleep and never noticed until 11 this morning, and our respective bosses were calling us up to find out where we were! Fortunately, we were reconnected in about an hour or so, so no loss of food in the fridge or freezer. I also got in late yesterday evening, so there was no painting to report on anyway.

No more painting news, instead I chose to spend last night on the couch watching actual good quality TV shows with my girlfriend, plus I was home late, and it was getting on by the time we had dinner. I'll get stuck in tonight though, and update tomorrow.

I've been updating my progress on the forums over at www.deathguard.org, but it seems they've had a hacker attack, so the forums are down at the moment. I'll keep an eye open, and let you know when they're up - many good models on display there.
