No tailgating allowed at Superbowl...

Just thought I would pass on this word of warning - There will be no tailgating parties allowed at or near Dolphin Stadium for the upcoming Superbowl.

Cold front a commin'

One of those fronts that have been causing blizzards & ice storms throughout the nation is finally getting around to visiting South Florida. Instead of our usual low 80s the temp may drop into the 50s (high 40s with a 'wind chill factor', whatever that is). It is already low 60s outside, so I've opened the condo & set the vent fans high. Given a few hours I won't have to deal with the A/C for a few days. Too bad this didn't happen at the top of my weekend instead of at the end. Fresh, cold, humid (can't have everything) air should do me good.

Raiz3R – Now look what you done did...

A few days ago Raiz3R posted a Stevie Ray Vaugan video on the blogs. Now look at my Last.FM Top Weekly Artists chart...

(imagine a nice embedded chart here while I look up the code to make it happen)

Fortunately I'm a big fan of the Blues, but the style has taken over my charts, again. I thought I was just doing great, going through and rating the tracks in my collection (that is why Billy Joel is on the chart). Now I'm sidetracked into back into the Blues.

Snow in South Florida!

No, not today. While the rest of the nation is covered under sheets of ice, South Florida is enjoying temps in the low 80s. A nice warm winter.

According to the Sun-Sentinel newspaper, 30 years ago today, snow fell in South Florida.
