It Struck Me As Funny

A new Sanyo rechargeable battery comes pre-charged.  It is called the eneloop.  Listen to how I amuse myself:  I make anagrams and reversals in my head to see what comes up.  "Eneloop" comes out "Poolene" when spelled backwards.  Sounds like that new diet product!  Help I'm a 12-year-old in a 41-year-old body!

Two Negative Reactions

I downloaded the demo for Geon on Xbox Live Arcade.  You collect dots with your cube and flip over the edge to score a goal.  The boards get progressively more complicated.  I absolutely hated everything about the game.  I didn't see the point, and the demo didn't help.

Sleep Is Good

If you read my last post, you'd see that I'm not the biggest FPS player.  Therefore, the midnight launch of Halo 3 was not for me.  Just weighing in that not everybody has to have it first.  I was asleep during the launch.

Three FPS Battle It Out for Game of the Year

I'm not a big fan of First-Person Shooters (FPS).  Yet, three games collide in 2007 that peak my interest, and that's no easy task.  Halo 3 is the clear front-runner in hype, at least.  I'm not running out to get this one right away, I may wait for Xmas.  Bioshock is the new baby that may just knock Halo 3 into the penultimate spot for best new FPS?  We'll see, but I love Bioshock.  It's pretty and also a competent game that is scary fun.  The third game is most likely going to be my personal favorite, because it will have a ton of variety, a good story, and a good time for the non-arena kind

No Zex Like Goozex

I intentionally offered up tons of games to trade to win the Goozex "seller of the month."  I even set the record at 62 completed trades in August.  Yes, it cost me a lot of money, but it still comes out cheaper than buying crappy used titles at the retail stores.  My seller name is Robb-with-2-B's.  I'm not adding anything new to my collection this month, so someone else should win.  I'd like someone else to beat my record, too!
