Mama Warned Me About Goozers

So I join Goozex, a web-based matching service for game trading.  A mere month and a half later, I became top "seller" because me and some other guy tied for trading OUT the most games in July.  July was a busy month, too, because all trades waived the $1 surcharge.  I feel so special!  Anyway, I can't say enough good things about Goozex.  It will save you at least 50% on your game purchases, but I think it probably evens out to a nice 67% savings.  Anyway, this contest of "best seller" will be every month.  The top 5 will get 5 free trades, and the top s

Eragon (Xbox360): A Re-look after 2/3rds complete

Okay, I'm pleased to say the game gets better. There are two types of levels, the defeat-the-enemies levels on foot, and the dragon riding levels. The "Hard" level setting gets really difficult as the game progresses. Also, like the Final Fight-type game it is, divide and conquer is the strategy you must take.

First, there's all the abilities you learn. Eragon can:

Circuit City's Best Customer

I helped Circuit City get rid of a bunch of Xbox 360 games again!  I even bought the '06 sports games.  Also noticeable was Disney's Cars was reduced to $20.  It's not a great game for $60, but it's okay at $20.  Still, not a real deep driving game.  I think this might be a "Greatest Hits" price, because it was one of the top seller last year.  I kid you not, it was either #1 or #2 for the entire year (2007)!  Who says kids' games don't make money?

Eragon (Xbox360)

Okay, this was another $17 game at Circuit City. It is another game that looks great, but has no real substance. It is, essentially, a medieval magic fantasy version of Final Fight. This is because you don't get to roam about freely. It's strictly forward only. If you find you get no achievement points, you get zero points for Easy, 20 points for Medium, and 30 points for Hard. The primary difference between the difficulties are bigger damages and lesser health bonuses.

Enchanted Arms for $20 on PS3

The title almost says it all. I recent trip to Circuit City allowed me to discover this sudden markdown. I didn't get it because I played the Xbox360 game. If you haven't played this game, it's a pretty good RPG!
