E4 Full Version Review

E4 differs from E3 in one key way:  there are no "lives."  The game is easier, in fact, MUCH easier.  When you blow up certain colors of enemies, they drop bonuses and power ups.

Every Extend Extra Has Made an Impact

E4: Every Extend Extra Extreme is available on XBLA for 800 points in North America.  I gave the demo a quick look this morning.  I found it much simpler to succeed than the PSP version.  There was just tons more on the screen than on E3.  The object of the game is to position your marker in a strategic location and blow it up!  Ironically, if something hits your marker, it blows up without taking out the other things on screen.  You must be very careful to collect more "extends" before blowing them all up, or the game is over.  It becomes a game of careful resource management, with a "BOOM

A Perfect Demo

I played "The Simpsons Game" free demo on my PS3. With so many bad Simpsons games in my past, I was a little worried it would be "Worst Videogame, Ever!" Fortunately, it's fantastic. The demo is the same level the E3 footage showed. Lard Lad, the "Big Boy" with the donut, is terrorizing downtown Springfield. Homer and Bart have to stop Lard Lad before it kills them. Meanwhile, there are Killer Krusty the Klown's getting in your way and trying to kill you. Lard Lad shoots powerful laserbeams, too. Navigate the crumbling downtown and disabling the Lad are your goals.

Leggo My Lego!

Having 100% on Bionicle and working on 100% on Lego Star Wars II, I see great news on the horizon.  Research on IGN.com has revealed that there is a compilation of Lego Star Wars I and II called "The Complete Saga."  It will be a combination of the two games, not a strict port.  I enjoy the Xbox360 versions, because they add the "bragging rights" achievement points that challenge you to fully experience the game.  Not only that, Lego Star Wars I missions will be available on the Xbox360 for the first time.  Traveler's Tales is also working on the Indiana Jones Trilogy, regardless of a fourt
