I was just being nice

I really don’t give two shits how you are, I was just being nice

There’s always got to be one of these people…you ask them how they are and they freaking tell you. It’s like that Rosanna Danna chick.

YOU: Hi Fred, how are ya?

FRED: Oh, golly gee. My arthritis is acting up, my cat shat in my shoe this morning, I went to have cereal for breakfast and there was only half a bowl left in the box.

YOU: Oh, That’s to bad Fred. Well have a good….

You are not that Cool Harley Guy

This series is actually going to be easier than I thought. I've got several done already. I'm quickly finding that this series is stepping on the toes of my next set of blogs entitled "People who are easy to hate." This is not one of them, but you'll see tomorrow and Friday how thin the line has become. I'll have to give that some serious consideration.

Things you could say but probably shouldn't

Say What?

With presidential politics at the forefront of so many peoples minds I began to think about how genuine the candidates are. I’m sure that they all have strong opinions and beliefs about things, yet they are gagged by their need to please all people. Obama has caught some heat lately, not that he said anything particularly wrong, but he said things that are not popular to hear. Such is life.

That said……

I’m going to experiment with a new series of blogs dedicated to THINGS THAT YOU COULD SAY, BUT PROBABLY SHOULDN’T.

Calling all Designers

There is quite a bit of artistic talent at 2old2play, are any of you guys looking for extra work and little appreciation on top of your regular 9-5?  Part of my job is running a wine festival in the fall.  Because of all the collectibles (ie. glasses) a new logo is designed every year.  While I'm not thrilled with that concept, it is what it is for now.  The issue is that the local people that I work with haven't been forthcoming with anything significant.

Evolution of the Man Cave

I while back I moved to a new apartment. That lady that lived here before me had begun to partition off a room in the basement of the townhouse and I decided to continue with the project. Keep in mind that this was done on the cheap since it's a rental. The carpet is from Olly's ($70) and the paint was $9 a gallon from Lowe's (the good stuff). The couch was free from a friend. It's a piece of shit, but that's where I spill my beer and fart...so no big deal. You can't see it in these pics, but I had to finish building the wall on the left side.
