battle still brewing

Last entry was in September after my hearing on custody. I didn't win the kids, but I did get a court order stating that we need to have an official parenting plan that gives me more parenting time and specifies that she (pew) cannot make unilateral decisions about the kids. I also get electronic visitation (aka - xbox time) and a couple other minor things.

topsy turvy - FAIL

So, it is almost the end of August, and I should have been swimming in 'maters by now. Not so. I've had 2 half grown tomatoes that turned red. only two more even started, but they never got past green. I would consider the Topsy Turvy to be a FAIL. Of course, it might have to do with where it was located, the type of soil i used and the amount of water I used. So the only true way to determine failure would be to try again next year with some slightly different inputs to determine if it is me or the topsy turvy. Bottom line is that this years results is a big fat FAIL.

topsy turvy ---

Ok,

it is now August 1st,  and I still only have 2 green tomatoes. I'm beginning to think that the topsy turvy does not really work that great. At least it doesn't work that great for me. That being said, my experiment with growing tomatoes on my porch last year in a big pot, produced one half grown rotten tomato. So, i'm doing better than last year, but still not that great.

If these two tomatoes turn red and are edible, i'll consider it a minor sucess, but just barely.

We'll see if they start to turn in the next day or so.
