trip to seattle

so... my wife says... you know, i've never been to seattle? want to go? So. guess where we were this wonderful labor day week end. Seattle. I actually love it here. the weather. the people. the food. the grunge. the coffee. the water. the sound. the buildings. pike market. the warf... i could go on and on.

Took a few pics, but I'm having a little bit of technical difficulty in getting them embedded into this blog. having a brain cramp i suppose.

Going to visit mt. rainier today. renting a little cabin in the woods.

Life before YouTube

Just had a thought today after one of my friends emailed me a YouTube video. Made me realize that YouTube has become ubiquitous in our society. You don't think about it being there. How it works, who is behind it. It is just there. Like telephones, and cable and running water and mcdonalds and speed traps.

What did we do before YouTube? Hmmm... I would hazard a guess that we had a lot more of the following before YouTube

- chain emails of Jokes, pictures,... _____________ (fill in the blank)

- people saying "you had to be there dude!"
