so... in the continuing saga of my current lawyer doing what he is being paid to do, he has finally filed all the appropriate documents with Teller County in the state of colorado. a big huge YAY for that. He even filed my request for a CFI (child family investigator). My crazy pew (psycho ex wife) has exactly 15 days to respond. She has never responded to anything that quick in her entire life so I don't anticipate any issues with my filings being accepted completely.

I'm not going to say that lawyers are the cause of all the problems in this world, but they come pretty damn close. And let me clarify. Divorce lawyers suck. All other lawyers are ok in my book.

I've been fighting for my kids for almost 4 years now. The lawyers involved do not care one wit about the kids and the pain they cause. All they want is their blood money.

 so... driving home on Sunday afternoon and passing a verizon store. Wife says... "want to go get new phones?"  I've been complaining about hating mine for the past year. I says "Hell yeah". So, an hour and a half later, we are driving home (again) but this time with new Blackberry's in our pockets. We went with the buy one get one free gimick. Not a bad phone. Has some oddities, but it is pretty good for getting email and pretty much serving as a mini computer out on the road.

 So. I love gaming. Been into for the past couple years since I purchased my first 360. Since then I've purchased a Wii, PS3 and another 360 (had to have one for the bedroom). 

But all gaming and nothing else can make for dull conversations around the dinner table with family and friends when so few of them understand the gaming drive that so many of us  on this site have.

Had to change the age on my account this week. (side note: can't this just be a calculation based on your d.o.b?) I'm officially middle aged. I'm definitely not where I thought I'd be 5 or 10 or 15 years ago. Not that I'm in a bad place mind you, just a different place. I don't have the cool mid life crisis car - i'm still a couple years away from that. I do have a beautiful wife and a pretty decent job. And of course a pretty good clan.
