So, just a quick update on the whole topsy turvy experiment.

I have my first two tomatoes growing! and it looks like they will actually be pickable and edible. Much different than the fiasco last year. I admit i was skeptical that I'd even get this far. We'll see if I get more than just a couple.

So. The verdict so far is... success!

Latest on my quest for saving my kids from their crazy ass mother.

Here in Colorado. Had to do four  things (other than hang out and spend time with my kids)

1. Have Interview and psych eval with a psychiatrist - CHECK.

2. Be observed by psychiatrist with my kids - CHECK

My wife got one of those Topsy Turvy planters for her birthday. Somehow this gift to her turned into a project for me.

So, i think i'll blog about my experience with growing tomato plants upside down.

Step one. take the whole thing out of the package and read the instructions. They're in spanish. Hmmm.... is this telling me something? Are the producers of this thing thinking that only the spanish speaking folks in our country will actually use one of these things? Not sure. Well, the pictures that went with the spanish are mildly helpful.

So... for those of you following my "get the kids back" saga. I had my second big win of this case. The first was that I was allowed to have a CFI (child family investigator) assigned to the case to review in an objective manner both family situations and decide who was the better parent. (ok it's a little more detailed than that, but that is pretty much what it comes down to).
