So, it's well known that when season tickets were printed, Alabama ended up spelling Mississippi State incorrectly on the ticket for that game.  Embarrassing, yes.  A t-shirt was made to commemorate the embarrassment.  Glad to see that the Alabama faithful are collectively seeing the humorous side of this.

I go through phases where I'll read a lot, and then mellow it out for a while.  After my 6 books back to back last month, I'm ready to jump in again.  I've been somewhat intrigued by the e-readers, and this was amplified a bit when I walked into Barnes & Noble the other day looking for an iPhone development book.

I've been having kind of a crappy weekend.  It just seems I haven't had much time to relax and just kind of chill out by myself.  Got the chance to do a little shopping alone this afternoon, and went over to Fry's (big ol' electronics store if you don't have one near you).  Kind of had to scrape the bottom of the barrel to buy myself something shiny.  Anyway, I settle on Kane & Lynch: Dead Men (yeah, the first game) for 4.99 on the PC, but avoided Kane & Lynch: Dog Days on sale for $49.99.  On a whim, I also picked up Darkest of Days for $25 on the 360, which is about 10 more than I

 Today, I was out in the yard, walking Timmy.  The mailman came by and put some stuff in the box.  I walked over, saw that my new issue of Official Xbox Magazine came.  I was somewhat happy about this (it's not the best magazine, after all), so I grabbed it.  I left everything else in the mailbox.  This reminds me of when I was a kid, and I'd be in the yard playing, mailman would come by and I'd check.  On those days when a new Atari Age came, or maybe a Star Wars figure send-away came through, I'd grab the appropriate item, leaving the rest in the mailbox.
