The Jedi Path

Yesterday, I had a nice little package waiting for me - The Jedi Path. It's pretty much a book for Star Wars geeks. It goes into all the details about the Jedi, gives a history, insight into their practices, all written from the perspective of a Jedi handbook. There are little trinkets inside, a napkin, a patch, Qui-Gon's padawan braid, a coin, all sorts of neat little things that make it seem like a Jedi scrapbook. There are also annotations. This part is hit or miss.

Close call....

Guess my score prediction on the Bama/Ark game was way off.  Honestly, I thought Bama was going to come out and take care of business.  In effect, I figured Bama would play the whole game like they did the second half, and that Arkansas would play the whole game like they did the second half.  Man, Bama looked like complete shit in the first half.  If we don't get down to business, we're in for some tough games against UF, USC, LSU, MSU and API.  I'm hoping this week was a wakeup call to the defense to stop trying to make highlight reels and stick to fundamentals.

Argh...

I guess it's one of those days.  I was at the tail end of a fairly long blog post with my college football observations for the weekend.  Then, I had a little power glitch and lost it.

So, I'll summarize, and leave out analysis on some of the lesser games.

Bama @ Arky - trap game, I'm worried, but if Bama isn't looking ahead to UF, I think the offense is too much for Arkansas's albeit improved, but still questionable defense.  The fact that Arky couldn't put together a full game at UGA has me feeling okay.  Bama wins 41-24.
