Decent week for football.  The cooler weather has been nice, making it feel like fall or something like it.  I've had an exhausting week at work.  Between providing on-site services for a client, I also help run the company, and we've just extended offers out to 17 new people for an exciting (albeit frightening) new effort.  I hope to have some really good news to report on that in the not so distant future.  I've been acting as a buffer so my developers don't get drawn into things and taken away from their assignments.  One of these things is supporting a load test.  Christ on a cracker, t

Last night, a friend pinged me, wanting to play some L4D2, the Sacrifice.  I decided to go ahead and download it.  While I haven't spent much time with L4D2, I do like the game.

So, I hurry over to the marketplace, and excitedly hand over my 560 points.  I confirm, and then I'm notified that my hard drive is full.  I immediately get thoughts of ordering one of those 250GB slims, but quickly decided against that.

Last night, a friend pinged me, wanting to play some L4D2, the Sacrifice.  I decided to go ahead and download it.  While I haven't spent much time with L4D2, I do like the game.

Just noticed that I'm level 2 on 2o2p now.  As I'm still new to the site, I've enjoyed my time thusfar.  I'm not usually much of a blogger, but I like the utility here.  I can post whatever's on my mind without worry of clogging up forums.  Good place, lots of variety in terms of people, content and tastes, never a dull moment - really, a one-stop shop for the adult gamer.  Thanks for having me, and I look forward to more participation.  Hell, I may even join a clan.

I had to work late on Friday.  I got out at about 8, so I decided to treat myself to some games.  Fry's was having a sale on EyePet and Start the Party for PS3 Move.  Both games for $50.  Probably a stupid purchase, but EyePet has always intrigued me.  They also had Dead Rising 2 on sale for $50, so I picked that up.  I had decided to wait for a $40 price point, but in the grand scheme of things....  Once home on Friday, I finished out the first half of the GH:WoR quest.  Too much metal towards the end, but a better balance than previous games.  Those Megadeth songs were tough.
