Football wise, it was a pretty good weekend, going about as I had expected.  Notre Dame losing is always a good thing.   Next weekend is a big one.  Arkansas concerns me, but I feel a little bit better after watching them against UGA this weekend.

I had preordered the Move from Amazon, not quite sure why.  Well, it arrived today, so on the way home from work, I decided I'd go to Best Buy and check it out.  First off, Best Buy was totally unprepared.  They had Lord of the Rings and Ruse, but no other Move games out.  I asked them, as they had a little demo unit up, and the guy eagerly put Sports Champions in my face.

Had the second attempt at carpet cleaning yesterday.  Went very well - and cost about the same as the first attempt.  The carpets look great.  Two great things happened during the cleaning.  First, the first place called about the negative review my girl left for them on Kudzu.  "Hello, we just want you to know that we take reviews seriously, and we'll get someone out there right away to inspect the job".  My girl replied "that's okay, we've got Kiwi Carpets in here now".  Click.

With the puppy, and three cats, my lady decided to have the carpets in my house professionally cleaned.  She goes about her research, selects one who is offering a pet package, and all is good.  A good price on 7 rooms (something like $200) and all this talk of getting up pet stains and that stink that puppies generate.  So they show up at around 6, and from jump street are trying to upsell us on extra crap.  After increasing irritation, it's "do the pet package as quoted, or leave".  They start cleaning. It didn't take them long to do.

My girl isn't very good at games.  She gets hung up on games which require two thumbsticks to be used in unison.  We picked up Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs on clearance a while back, and she got to 100% completion and 1000 achievement points last night.  She now sees herself as an elite player, talking smack and all that good stuff.  Not sure what to put her on next, Bolt?  Up?  G-Force?  Any recommendations for the "not very good gamer" who can't use two thumbs, but wants to feel like she's a Korean Starcraft God?
