Pretty morbid topic for a Friday blog, so I'll apologize for that right off the bat. However, it's true and something I guess I just need to talk about and get right in my head so I can move on. I tend to dwell even though I know it's not healthy to do, so blogging about it might be good therapy for me. Today I had to put a good friend to rest. One that had been there for me and with me for some really great times. Many a great night spent together, with more than a few beers in my home theater room, I will remember them fondly. Normally I like to keep my blogs lighthearted, centered on gaming or other interesting quirks of life. Today isn’t one of those days, and we all know why. Today is a day to remember one of those fateful days in history, the type where every American will remember where they were, what they were doing. Today is 9/11. We as a country must never forget – not for the government or any war on terrorism that you may or may not support – but for the men and women who died that day, either by the cowardly attack or those who rushed to their aid and gave the ultimate sacrifice.
