Guilty as charged...

I will admit it – I played with my Wii last night.

The Next "Big Thing"

I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess that I’m not the only one whose gaming time is very precious. Given the demographics of the site, many of us have very busy lives between career, family, and other competing interests. Because of that, I tend to be pretty picky with the games that I buy and play, at least more so than I would be otherwise. I don’t want to shell out money for a game that ends up mediocre and walk away feeling that the time I spent playing the game should have been used elsewhere.

Did I just do...what I think I did?

This weekend I was able to do something I rarely do. When I say rarely, we’re talking four-leaf clover, Haley’s Comet, the man outlasting the woman type rare.  This is one of those things you mark on the calendar, look back 10 years later, and say “Wow…I really did that?!?” and find it hard to believe your own writing.

This weekend I finished a game.

Found: The Fountain Of Youth

Given the demographic of the site, I would imagine that finding out a way to feel young again is a pretty good thing. Well, last night I was introduced to such a way. I found a way to sit back, look around and grin, and say to yourself “I might be 2 old 2 play, but damnit I’m not *that* old yet”. I thought I would dedicate this blog to sharing that information. The secret is…

…to go see George Thorogood and Bryan Adams in concert.

Wednesday DVD Review™

“Give nothing … but take from them … EVERYTHING!”

As promised in last week’s review, today I will talk about what can arguably called the man movie of the current century – all homoerotic jokes aside. This movie blends all of the aspects that draw men to film and sends them flying at us with visceral force and palatable intensity. This movie literally increases testosterone levels in its audience. This movie is about war, honor, duty, and courage. THIS … IS … 300!!!

Uncle Balek^2

Well, not content to go as far as the doctors would have let her (would have been induced on Monday), my sister took matters into her own hands and delivered a healthy, happy set of twins on Friday evening. Mother and children are doing well, and recovering nicely over at the Naval Medical Center in Washington.
