Manhunt 2

Unless you've been living under a rock in the gaming world, then by now you've heard at least a little bit about the controversy surrounding Rockstar Games new title Manhunt 2.   It is supposed to be ultra-violent and  initially received an AO rating  by the ESRB.  AO is the most restrictive rating given by the ratings body; many American retailers will not carry AO rated titles.  Amid protests and threats of legal action Rockstar edited some of the murder scenes and blurred a few of the more graphic sequences in order to get a "M" rating.

Random Thoughts

I've been looking forward to playing PGR4 but didn't exactly rush out to get the first copy since H3 is so popular at the moment.  Well, Silverbullet and Torture77 decided to spam me last night to let me know how great the game is so I decided to go out during lunch to pick up a copy.  Apparently the game is sold out around town.  I don't get this.  The cost for the actual copies of the game is so minimal compared to the rest of the development that there's no reason to not print plenty of copies.  It's as if the game developers don't really want people to play their games.

My Phone

I've never been on the bleeding edge of the technology curve but for many items I'm usually at the forefront.  I was one of the first to have DirecTv in our area.  I was the first in line for a DirecTivo unit when they released.  I have 3 HD televisions and HD-DVR units currently.  I jumped on the Zune bandwagon (such as it was) early on.  I was one of the first people in my edition to use high speed internet.  Both my cars have GPS units and I've always been pretty eager to get the latest in car audio.  I know that many or most of those things are common place now.  While I may not always be
