Oblivion

Bit the bullet after I was standing at the Circuit City on Saturday (and picked up "Rogue Galaxy" for $20) and bought Oblivion GOTY edition as well.

I was on the phone with my wife agonizing about the purchase when she simply said, "What's the point of having a really big TV if you can't play the games you really like on it?"

Time Time Time

One of our most precious commodities as adults, parents and workers.

I'm in the middle of a lot of things, just like all of you.  Meetings added onto regular commitments in the midst of our "busy" time of the year as clinicians.

Maintaining certification through education, adding on some extra learning to help further my career, state and local board meetings, call nights.  It is a lot of time!

Not much in the way of specifics, but I guess I need to streamline and maximize my time.

WarHawk

Just a quick note that I enjoyed playing WarHawk tonight.

It should be painfully obvious from my skills that I don't play FPS very often.

I was having trouble dismounting from vehicles and as a result got plastered several times.

Additionally, it took me a few tries to find out the afterburner switch on the WarHawk itself which has obvious advantages when it comes to survivability.

Ratchet and Clank: TOD Parting Shots

I finished Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction on Saturday night. I only played through it once, beating the final boss after about 4 tries.

I would definitely recommend it as a rental and if you are into platformers (a la Psychonauts), a definite buy.

I'll not post spoilers, but there is a definite "Empire Strikes Back" ending that I'm not sure was completely necessary.

Ratchet and Clank: TOD

I've started Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction.

It's pretty enjoyable so far.  I mean to say that  I was up about an hour past bedtime after getting to a new planet and was considering staying up.

So, yeah, pretty good.
