Holiday Slow-Down and Wrap-Up

Well, I guess we're "the family" now.

When folks say, "We're going to go visit the family", they mean us.  We have young children and space for several people to stay at one time.

So, the office has slowed down enough in the last few days to wrap all the presents.  The kids are still little (3 and 1), so minimal effort in bows, balancing numbers of gifts, etc. was required.

I know as we get further along, more frills and "she has more presents than me" stuff will come into play.

Assassin's Creed - Damn Archers!

Seriously, I'm just riding along in the countryside on my horse, and you have to take a pot-shot at me with your bow?!?  Of course, you've now forced me to climb up there and toss you off.

Jerk.

Bug Watch - Week 51

What I'm seeing in the clinic:

1.) "Flu like" bug - 2-3 days of pharyngitis followed on day 3 with myalgia, sinusitis, fever, bronchitis. This knocks my adults down for about 5-7 days. "Flu-like" with negative flu swabs and negative mono tests.

2.) Acute bronchitis, lasts about 5 days, in my non-smokers. No fever, worse night-time cough. Minimal clear or slightly discolored sputum.

3.) Gastroenteritis - nausea and vomiting sweeps through the family and/or office lasting 2-3 days.

I'm Bringing Paxil Back...

Now that Paxil (paroxetine) is on the generic list, I'm bringing "Paxilback".

Now go take your meds like good little monkeys.

Assassin's Creed

Okay, played through the first few missions.

I have 13 or 14 flags in the first little Assassin-held city.

Graphically, beautiful.

Sometimes the interactions can be a little clunky.

So far the storyline has been rewarding and enjoyable, though I hate playing as a jerk, because I don't think I am one in real life.

More news as time permits.

Run with It

Well, the weekend went alright, I suppose.

I finished the 60 questions for accreditation maintenance, which took around 6 or 7 hours.  Now I need to do the next part, which will be another 3 or 4, I'm pretty sure.

Played a little Star Wars Saga, but got Gamefly from my wife for the anniversary and Assassin's Creed should be here tomorrow.

I'm really looking forward to that.
